Account Information
If you choose to create a CheapestZone account (optional), we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. This is used solely for account authentication and price alert notifications.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Payment or credit card information
- Precise location data
- Social media profiles
- Browsing history outside of CheapestZone
Cookies & Tracking
CheapestZone uses localStorage for minimal data storage. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. When you click an affiliate link to a retailer (Amazon.ca, Walmart.ca, eBay.ca), that retailer may set their own cookies according to their privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
CheapestZone uses APIs provided by Amazon, Walmart, and eBay to fetch product and pricing data. When you click a link to visit one of these retailers, their own privacy policies apply. We encourage you to review:

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data we handle. Account passwords are hashed and salted. All connections to CheapestZone are encrypted via HTTPS.
